She’s basically played this thing out as far as it can go. It’s finally time to decide. If she wants to remain consistent to her beliefs, I think she has to resign or go to jail. Anything else would smack of hypocrisy.

she was challenging based on her claim of religious persecution. so does this stand as a giant precedent for other religious conservatives who hope to use the same strategy to attack other institutions? or is there existing case law that would have prevent that anyway?

If these county clerks want to be religiously fanatical, bigoted fools … fine … but not on the taxpayers’ dime.
