Welp, if nothing else, this exercise in futility should demonstrate to every being on the planet that Donald J. T rump, pretending to be President of the United States of America, is a fish out of water.
Trump is going to launch some sort of military operation against N. Korea. It may very well involve the use of nuclear weapons. The GOP Congress will support and defend him, against both internal and external forces, protesting his actions. Fait accompli.
And just at the time that reports from inside the WH say Trump is becoming more unstable, more unleashed, more untethered from reality. Perfect.
Keep in mind, this plays perfectly into China’s hands. The US is removing itself as a leader, and China is being cast in the role as the international peace maker.
Meanwhile, Trump is getting into a twitter fight with the English Prime Minster over his inability to have any sort of self restraint on twitter.
If he does take military action in NK, we will be going alone.
How about if we help N.K. build a walled in theme park that could host tourists from all over the world. Kim could keep his people from being influenced by foreign culture and gain a legitimate cash cow industry to benefit his Party, and maybe eventually his nation. Somebody would have to build a kick ass hotel and golf course and be able to call himself a winner for the first time in a long time.

Well, at least everyone will get their fair share of the strontium-90 and caesium-137 falling out of the atmosphere. So, not entirely alone.
Absolutely nothing good will come of anything that T rump tries to do. Whatever he does, it will inevitably be an absurd action, the consequences of which will cost 10s if not 100s of thousands of lives. He will secure his place of infamy among such murderous leaders as Pol Pot, Augusto Pinochet, and yes, even Adolf Hitler. Our President is a threat to global security.
The crisis is that this stuff (essentially routine provocations) is being treated as a crisis.
I am amazed at how China is reaching all over the globe, using soft power–building stuff in other countries–to fill the shoes we left behind.

In other words, Trump sat down his very own “Larry, Moe and Curly” team with the Chinese diplomats. The world was watching and as usual, the laughing slowly increased until Trump got mad and insulted everyone. Mission accomplished. Nuclear war is the only option Trump thinks he understands. He doesn’t.
