Where is our beloved auntie? I reckon he’s careening through the stratosphere at light speed to Justiceville. God bless that man.

“And you may tell yourself, ‘This is not my beautiful wife.’”

Agreed. His go-to strategy has always been to litigate his opponents into submission while simultaneously making a lot of non-reality-based pronouncements about the case in the press before declaring any outcome a ‘win’. This is an altogether different affair, of course, but I don’t think his approach has much changed (especially since he now has special protections as President and an influential media apparatus working in concert with him).

Thanks for the clever meets nostalgia smile.

Only a fictional character can prove the exception to an otherwise inviolable rule. And it is such for many, many good reasons.

(Laugh) Good luck on that transition, because there won’t be any replacement lawyer.

I don’t know – lawyers will do what even hookers won’t for money & prestige.

years ago encountered a young man walking around with his pet rat on his shoulder - and when he saw me eyeing gave me a smirk - not realizing I quite like rats - and then he proceeded to condescend to me with his own coolness

Exactly. Sam Elliot’s is the best. There is no second place.

One gets the sense that even this idiot is a little bit frightened, and doesn’t want to be associated with what he knows is probably coming.

Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell has made sure that Congress will have it hands tied when whatever bomb it is finally goes off, having smoothly and blandly taken the necessary steps to ensure that Mueller and his investigation would be left unprotected: for clearly, Mitch has every bit as much to lose as Donald, if the whole truth ever gets out.
