Discussion: TX Teacher Fired For Tweeting At Trump For Help 'Removing Illegals' From School

She doesn’t look all that mean…

“The law is the law,” they added, “except as it applies to Mr. Trump’s tax returns, congressional subpoenas, and obstruction of justice.”

Very selective, this group, about which laws they want Donald J. Trump to enforce and which to ignore.

After dance majors, some of the stupidest most emotionally immature people I encountered as an undergraduate were those in teacher training courses.

excellent

While no one stood to defend Clark at the school-board meeting, the Fort Worth Republican Women Facebook group asked their members to contact district officials to voice their opposition to her firing.

“The students were offended by a teacher asking the President, Donald J. Trump, to enforce the law so she’s disciplined?” the group wrote. “Would the same be true if another teacher supported illegal immigration? FWISD has its priorities confused.”

the Fort Worth Republican Women

Ahh yes, more from the very best Women for Trump crowd.

Yeah ain’t that a kick in the head.
You turn to Donald J Trump for help and direction in ‘enforcing the law’.

Well, Hon, he’s got some other laws taking up the limited frontal space in his lizard-brain. He’ll get back to you.

Yeah, but you should see her get down as she does the Lindy Hop while listening to her Rudy Vallee records on her Victrola!

Well, if the scandal-plagued DeVos joins dozens of other Trump appointees by resigning, Donnie has his next Secretary of Education ready in the wings …

OK I believe the allegations, that is not the dispute.

But was this all happening in the ‘immediate’ past like she has been radicalized by the Trump campaign/FOX media so she was ALWAYS a racist asshole OR was her racist asshole somehow UNLEASHED like all these other people now claiming, I watched too much FOX and got radicalized? I have seen ‘that’ argument at least twice in the past few months.

I hope people understand the differences.

IF it is a recent series of actions ‘unleashed’ by current GOP rhetoric so that ‘this’ kind of bullshit was hidden inside her behavior I can understand the school district not acting previously to this. THIS was just a culmination of stupidity.

I wonder if she was notified NOT to come to school or some official walked into her office and told her to pack it all up? I wonder if her students applauded.

I just wonder how somebody who probably started OUT with the ‘ideal’ of ‘helping the children’ became this person.

And ‘yeah’ I just BET she is going to work for Trump’s campaign.

Hey whatever happened to the registrar in Kentucky who went to jail for defying a court order and not registering gay marriages? I remember she was voted out next election. Did she just settle herself down with her (I think) FOURTH husband? (It REALLY frosted me she was claiming some kind of ‘innate moral judgement’ for herself when she had four marriages and out-of-wedlock kids; I ‘hate’ the Evangelical groups who claim they are ‘better’ in tune with God than people like ME who is about to celebrate my 40th wedding anniversary to my one and only husband. Boy, I am about to get really pissed off so I will disengage. Good afternoon to all.)

The MAGA bomber dude (who is also blaming his addiction to steroids!) and some guy who set fire to a synagogue are both claiming they are not to blame because they became ‘inflamed’ by Presidential statements and Fox news. It makes me want to scream AARRGH at the top of my lungs off my porch.

As a Public School Teacher she doesn’t get to pick and choose who she wants to teach.

Good for the Ft Worth School District!

I have to agree with you, and I was a teacher for 20 years, starting in 1998. Many of the people who went into “teaching degree” undergrad programs were those who “just love children!” and likely also think being a teacher confers some kind of magical nobility upon them. Most of the people who were in the undergrad programs wanted to teach elementary grades.

I was in a post-grad teacher training program along with others who had degrees in their fields. We earned credentials to teach “single subject” courses (e.g. sciences, math, social sciences, world languages) at the middle- and high school levels.

Even so, there were those who bought into all the edu-speak, and those who did not.

Why wouldn’t they? Clark is a perfect representative of what the Republican party is now.

If there’s one positive of the Trump fiasco, it’s that so many of the haters were emboldened enough to let the mask slip and show the world what they really are.

Gosh she sounds a peach…JUST what we wanted teaching our youth. WTF is WRONG with people like this??? I just watched a YOUTUBE of some Texan bigot who was a director of a KOA ‘shooing away’ a black couple for coming to camp. It was disgusting. Even her husband came out and told her to be quiet…It isn’t like we’re not bigoted or sexist or racist up here in the NW but we do try and keep it under wraps…
