Discussion: Two Ugandans Arrested Demonstrating In Support Of Trump At US Embassy

Uganda make this shit up.

The men are members of Uganda’s Democratic Party, one of several opposition groups.

The local Daily Monitor newspaper reported the two arrested were part of a larger group that carried placards including one saying “A Vote For Trump Is A Vote Against African Dictatorship!”
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has held power here for three decades.

Following disputed elections in February, Kizza Besigye, the main opposition figure, was charged with treason.

Those guys are very confused, they already got their Trump

For a Trump demonstration in Uganda, they were missing two things:
“Black love Trump” signs, held by real black people; “Gays love Trump”.
The person holding the 2nd sign is promptly sent to jail for 30 years for promoting sodomy.
There are too many reasons to loathe Christian conservative Republicans like Hitler, but their promotion of death penalty anti-gay laws in Africa is close to the top of MY list.

That last sentence only has ten words in it, but some of them must have radically different meanings than I’m used to.

Isn’t a law against demonstrating without prior government approval one of the things on the GOP to-do list?

Not the smartest dudes around are they? They’re opposed to dictators like the one they have…the one that jails his political opponents. Like Trump’s claimes he will do.
