The charm offensive is probably intended to help her keep the team. Everybody needs to remember her son-in-law is in the Clippers front office. She needs to keep the team to keep him employed. She and her husband also want to avoid capital gains taxes if at all possible. I don’t think the NBA is going to let her keep the team.

I think you are going to find among the top 1% of this country a growing trend to have an entourage of ‘body guards’ to protect them from having any contact with the great unwashed. IOW, they will make their ‘gated communities’ mindset mobile. And while I’m at it, what a shock, shock I say, that two people that enter into a marriage might share some common values.
It’s a pretty safe bet that you can generalize from this particular rant to the generic rant that the media deserves.
