Another school shooting in America? This must be a day that ends with “Y”.

I feel so old. I remember when my biggest concerns in middle school were pimples, mean girls and did the boys like me or not!

Just read both victims are in critical condition. Damn it all to hell.

I have a lot of family and friends who live in Noblesville. A curious thing happened after this school shooting with that group: Many of them suddenly started posted on social media for the first time about their fears for their safety in public spaces.

Traitor t enjoys shooting of children, apparently. Otherwise, he’d be taking action on gun control.

I’d place a lot more of the blame on the do-nothing Congress, but he could sure get them going. Nah gunna happen.

We know two boys who attend that school. Unfortunately, this is touching more and more people personally.

Boy, I sure hope a mouth-breather in a MAGA caps shows up with a gun after the shooting is over to volunteer an interview and set the record straight on 2nd amendment priorities. Otherwise Fox News will have to punt to blaming Obama.

“Our thoughts are with all those affected by this horrible situation,” [Republican Gov. Eric] Holcomb said.

What? No prayers? Only thoughts?

Early Greek Methology knew so much about human nature: Pandora’s Box seems to apply here. At the time of the story Zeus was upset that one of the gods gave man fire. In modern times it might be more appropriate to say gun fire. When the box, given as a gift by Zeus,is opened by curiosity all forms of evil come out. The box was quickly closed trapping one thing inside. Latter the box is reopened, after all the evils were spread about the land. The one trapped item still inside came out - it was hope. Perhaps this is where we are today.

I fail to see any reason, regardless this male’s age, background, mental state or motivations, that he shouldn’t be incarcerated until his hair is gray.

“Our thoughts” but nothing else. Maybe when a congressperson’s child is shot and killed something will be done. Until then, people are just collateral damage in the name of gun rights.

Another unfortunate truth is that its going to take a lot more personal touches for this issue to finally get tackled in this country.

The NRA wishes to assure everyone that the gun used in this incident was not harmed in any way. So we can be thankful for that.

Um, no. NRA PAC money, and the votes of NRA members and other gun rights advocates, are worth far more to a politician than the lives of their children. Collateral damage. A politician will earn far more points for soldiering on and maintaining 2nd Amendment mania in the face of their own child’s death than they would publicly succumbing to gun regulation epiphanies.

Just think of this - a congressman was shot and in critical condition for a long period of time and he still takes the NRA stand
