Considering the tenseness of situation, this seems kinda close to yelling “fire” in a crowded theatre. Of course, if you’re a white southern lawyer and the theatre is full of black people, it would probably be okay. 'Cause he could say that he was just being pithy.

Yes you are 100% correct. Also, every single one of our elite political press would be braying at the moon and demanding Hillary apologize.

Twitter suspended Reynolds’ account, and he accused the company of censoring him.

You’d think that a professor of law and a man hailed as a “free-speech advocate” would have at least a tenuous grasp of the concept that non-governmental entities are free to regulate speech in any manner that they see fit within their jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the sort of speech that got Reynolds’ account blocked in the first place is almost certainly defined in Twitter’s Terms of Service, and Reynolds explicitly agreed to abide by those terms when he signed up for his account in the first place.

I pity the people who think they’ll get an education of any kind by enrolling in one of Reynolds’ classes.

Some of his areas of expertise: 1st Amendment - um which protesters are protected by just like his nasty ass is, and 2nd Amendment - so if it is true that open carry is lawful in NC as I have heard, I am sure he was totally blasting the cops for killing someone with a gun - right?

I am going to try to send a message to University of TN Law School to let them know what I think of Instapundit and exercise my 1st Amendment rights.

Well of course, but these were JUST brown people.

Way back in the early days of blogging, Instapundit was considered by “some people” to be the sensible conservative (or libertarian), but I soon stopped checking in, because I didn’t find him at all sensible and quite often downright ugly. I hadn’t read him for years, and I see he hasn’t changed.

Exactly. How is this OK with Twitter? So according to Twitter it’s OK to incite people to run down black protesters as long as you hide it under a link??? Kind of like it’s OK to be in the KKK as long as you hide your head under a sheet. Unbelievable.

You mean to tell me that Instapundit is still alive and still saying and doing this idiotic shit? Hell I thought he was dead by now - he’s only been doing this since 2000.

And here comes the deluge of posts and tweets completely (and in many cases, intentionally) misunderstanding the meaning of the 1st Amendment.

And he complains that conseratives get censored but liberals don’t…hum, anyone see any liberal tweeters telling folks to injure and kill folks and being allowed to stay online?
