Firing despicable campaign workers who act the fool and or commit assault is covered in Candidate 101 (right after the lesson Mitt skipped where they taught you not to insult the voter’s homebaked cookies). But Combover here doesn’t operate by those rules which is why he looks like a weaker general election candidate every day. Even for trumpus manos minimus, having “your campaign” and the word “assault” together multiple times on the same day for different incidents just isn’t good.

in the mid 70’s I was with other employees at one of our displays at a convention.A female colleague, for reasons unclear, started to make some sort of scene in front of several dozen persons. One of the men gently and politely took her elbow and, talking to her as one speaks to a mental patient, quietly steered her off the floor. suggested she might go to her room and rest a bit. The next day she went to the man’s boss and said he had “molested her,” without any of these details.
The man was devastated, knowing he could have been fired but for the witnesses.Ironically, she herself could have been fired to making the scene, but she suffered no sanctions for lying as she did.
That it is coming from hard-core conservative media outlets is all the better. The Drumpf team can’t fall back on the usual “liberal media” tropes.
This is “conservative on conservative” violence and political fist-fighting.
