It’s getting ridiculous. Democrats need to start talking about kleptocracy in terms people can understand, i.e., In Trump we basically have one of those tinpot leaders who is seeking to use his official position as a public servant to amass a secret personal fortune–a fortune that cannot be amassed without literally selling American interests for personal gain. It seems unlikely that most Americans will think that this if fine–that it’s OK for the American presidency to become an office that will be like the president of Nigeria or the Philippines or Russia, who leave office mysteriously worth billions more dollars than they were when they took office.

Mitch McConnell holds the key as Majority Leader in the Senate. Like it or not, it is what it is. He does not care how many protesters gather outside his office every Tuesday, he does not care about phone calls, faxes, FB posts, etc. but we are going to keep on doing that anyway.
But…what Mitch does do well is read the political winds. He’s beginning to feel it. He only cares about himself and the power he holds and wants to keep, think Gollum and his golden ring…so…keep putting the pressure on. Join your local Indivisible Group…run for office, keep hounding your reps in congress…do whatever it takes to keep the political winds blowing him over and threatening him and he will finally do something. But until he feels his power slipping away, he will do nothing. Understand that. If we do not threaten Mitch’s loss of power, he will do nothing. Once he feels the real fear, he will do something and try to make himself look like the hero. Whatever it takes, fine, let him think he’s some fucking hero…we all know better but whatever it takes to save our country.
