In a poignant reminder of his troubles back home, Netanyahu and his wife were questioned separately by police for hours on Friday before the prime minister left the next day for Washington.
“Poignant”?! Give me a fucking break.
Will we be reading of “the heart-rendingly affecting sadness” of Mueller’s questions to Trumpski? Well, if it’s tomorrow, then I’m all for it - purple prose notwithstanding.
I know North Korea has been the focus but it seems supporting Israel going to war would check just about every box on the “buoy rightwing midterm support” checklist.
I think the contours of the so-called “peace plan” have become fairly clear in recent reporting that focuses on what Muhammad ibn Salman (“MBS”) is pushing. Some months ago, Jared visited MBS in Saudi Arabia and the two stayed up till 4 AM solving the world’s problems. Last November, MBS summoned Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority and head of the PLO, and announced that the Arab Peace Initiative, a Saudi-sponsored proposal made back in 2002, under which the Arab states would recognize Israel in return for a Palestinian state in Gaza and parts of the West Bank with East Jerusalem as its capital, was dead.
In its place is a new Saudi proposal: Israel will get to keep the West Bank permanently, and the Palestinian state will be limited to Gaza, with some pieces of Sinai thrown in (presumably by Egypt). All other issues will have to be resolved in negotiations between the two states. MBS reportedly offered Abbas $10 billion to sweeten the deal (not sure if some of this was offered to Abbas personally). Here’s an example of reporting about the proposed deal. http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/did-saudi-arabia-just-try-to-give-the-west-bank-to-israel/
Of course while this proposed deal was being formulated, Jared was committing to help the Saudis in Qatar and Yemen. And, somehow the Arabs and Israelis will unite against Iran. What could go wrong?
Oh what, the Kush couldn’t help?
Donald: “Limbo ? Is that West-Bank or East-Bank ?”
“If we don’t come up with a strategy against Iran, we’re going to make Israel go to war here pretty soon,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
The GOP, since Ronald Reagan’s first term, has never wavered from full subservience to the Likud’s goal of making a Palestinian State impossible (by grabbing and incorporating all the territories) and being the Likud’s and Sheldon Adelson’s proxy in starting a war with Iran.
Trump’s Mideast Peace Plans in Limbo.
Trump has a Mideast Peace Plan?
“If we don’t come up with a strategy against Iran, we’re going to make Israel go to war here pretty soon,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
Who the fuck is “we”? It’s high past time flex-straw master Lindsey limits himself to doing what he does best — felching senior Senators and swallowing santorum.
