From other stories, it appears that rank-and-file FBI staff were shocked and pissed that Comey got dumped.

Even if Donnie appoints Ivanka as the new FBI Chief (hey, it’s possible all things considered), I imagine that there will be a new flood of leaks from “highly placed sources”.
