Discussion: Trump's Latest Russia Probe Critique: 'It's Called Presidential Harassment!'

Well, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, you’d still be a loony moron. And your approval rating is—hold on—42 percent. Course we haven’t figured in the massive selloffs of recent hours. Might have an effect there, sport.

No. Somebody made it up and said it to him.

First of all, being critiqued is a part of the job you sought and illegitimately won. Did you complain when BC was harassed by Republicans because of a consensual, albeit extramarital BJ? You’re familiar with extramarital shenanigans, aren’t you? Yes you are!

Secondly, if you don’t like the pressures being applied to you as a result of your piss-poor conduct serving as this nation’s President, then get the fuck out of the White House! Resign! No one is forcing you to stay!

The choice is yours! You can leave voluntarily under your own terms now, or be escorted out of the White House by the Secret Service when you are forcibly removed from office. Pick one!

When you hound a man on his very birth, your own benchmark for what is harassment and personal victim hood has to be questioned.

I guess it is “harassment” when Mueller grabs you by your tiny nads, eh Donnie?

Hey. I’m the one that bitches about the Dem leadership around here.

Anyway… thinking that Dems in general are going to act like they have in the past is ignoring what’s going on inside the party and with voters.

There are a lot of new Dems in Congress now because they were furious and driven to enter government. If Dem leadership buckles, they will face a revolt. In hindsight, I think the failed Pelosi challenge was really a warning of, if you don’t lead we will.

And don’t forget the Dem voters. All are angry as fuck. Every single Dem that I know hasn’t lost any of the fury from Nov 6, 2016. If Dems spinelessly buckle in the house… there will be pushback.

IOKIYACR… (It’s OK if you’re a corrupt republican)

Boy. Next thing you know, someone will say he wasn’t born in the US. And they’ll keep saying it no matter how clear the proof that he was. Can you imagine?!

And that was after roughly 6 years of continuous, intensive investigations across a host of topics, none as egregious as possible conspiracy and treason

Does anyone even remember what that SCO (Ken Starr?) was originally appointed to investigate? Was it Whitewater? And once Whitewater fell away as an “iffy” issue… it just continued until Clinton was finally caught in a lie (trying to save face, protect his family and the intern from public humiliation, etc.)…

To this day I think it was set up. I mean, who keeps a cum-stained dress in a closet for three years, ready to hand to a journalist the moment the political timing is just perfect…? Providing the “smoking gun” proof that the president’s infidelity denials were a lie?

Now this president* thinks that a deep investigation into possible foreign meddling and conspiracy to throw an election is “harassment”? Tell it to the judges and the grand jury and juries who keep indicting and convicting and convicting and indicting… it’s only a witch hunt if, as in Clinton’s case, no other crimes were sufficiently proven to convict or impeach… so far, this one looks like a sound and contextually consistent investigation.

The Russian money, influence peddling, money laundering, “deals” and so on, are all part and parcel of the corruption involved. Even if it’s not proven beyond reasonable doubt that Trump himself conspired with Russians, all the surrounding context probably provides enough evidence to impeach and possibly even convict. And the entire family is involved (except maybe Barron… but even he’s been groomed, so who knows).

Seems like a bit of a redundant addition.

I know it goes without saying, but sometimes it’s important to call it out specifically.
