Discussion: Trump's Intel Chief: 'We Have Been Clear' In Findings Of Russian Election Meddling

Should be pretty clear now that Donny is Vlad’s tool.
It looks like the rats are finally becoming willing to take their chances in the water.
They just gotta remember to swim hard: a sinking ship pulls a lot of the surrounding ocean down with it.

Actually, scratch that. I suppose the dumbest possible scenario has to be true. Donnie’s buddy Vlad probably relieved His Orangeness of his phone so his guys could take it for “safekeeping” during their talk. You know, to make sure no bad guys were listening.

No fan of Dan Coates, here–I’m from Indiana, after all–but while he may be enough of a knave to work for Trump he is most emphatically Not A. Fool.
Just works for one.

Excellent find. Here’s the youtube version:

The guy is like a fucking broken record every day of the week. I’d chalk it up to brain damage but that’s giving him too much credit for something he probably has more control over than we realize. Unfortunately, he chooses not to exercise that control. He’s just a lazy thinker and talker. That’s what happens to people that have everything handed to them. He says he knows Putin well. This was in 2015 when Putin claims he never met him and tRump I believe still couldn’t get his story straight on that account.

He hasn’t changed one iota with everything he should have learned by now about Russia as our adversary. I’m always amazed at just how far back this goes in grooming tRump by Russian assets and making him into their useful idiot. Scary when you think about how long and deep it goes. Russia was definitely in it when they decided to play the long game by using tRump to achieve Putin’s priorities.

Don’t blame Coats for doing the job he is legally required to do. All of the blame for this particular situation lies with the republican congress.

I think this may have sent the RW over the edge. Looking at the news feeds and there’s a competition to see who can pile on the highest. Drudge? Red State? Fox? He’s in trouble.

The problem is that Republicans keep letting Trump get away with crap thinking he’ll rein it in. Donnie on the other hand thinks it’s a green light for more egregious behavior. Then when the ‘sane’ ones get worried the ignorant rubes double down on stupid and call everyone RINOs and Libs.

What else happened in March of 2015?

March 18, 2015

Trump tells the Daily Mail about his relationship with Putin: “the relationship is great, and it would be great if I had the position I should have.”

Trump also said he received “a gift from Putin – an award and a beautiful letter.” He does not confirm or deny meeting with Putin when asked.

Jeff Sessions AG - Republican, nominated by Trump, confirmed by Republican Senate
Rod Rosenstein DAG - Republican, nominated by Trump, confirmed by Republican Senate
Dan Coats IC - Republican, nominated by Trump, confirmed by Republican Senate
Robert Mueller SC - Republican, appointed by republican Rod Rosenstein

But this is all a liberal conspiracy against Trump. And he cannot trust or believe any of these people. So he’s siding with Vladimir Putin.

Think about that…

*US Constitution Art. III, Sec. 3, Para. 1

““We have been clear in our assessments of Russian meddling in the 2016 election”

And Trump has been clear that he’s beholden to Putin and functioning as Putin’s asset. Apparently, nobody’s listening to each other at all in the administration.

Trump doesn’t care what Coats has to say. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t even read the briefing papers he submits no matter how they’re stamped at the top, even when it says “URGENT”. Right now, tRump is on his way home to most likely spend the rest of the week staying at one of his clubs, golfing and tweeting away his victimhood towards the “fake media” for what he feels is an attack in meeting privately with Putin. He knew that 2 hour meeting was going to piss off a lot of people, and he never once showed he cared about proper protocol in that situation, or protecting our national interest. He just doesn’t care about that stuff. He’ll risk the criticism because he was compelled to meet with Putin because Putin has something serious hanging over tRump, and tRump knows he doesn’t want the American people to know what that is.

Its gonna be a long fucking week of tantrums and man-baby stuff from that orange asshole. The mania hasn’t even begun in earnest yet. Just wait. By Friday I know I’ll probably need respite from all this shit. Hell, I need it already.

As soon as the House Repukes join him in their support of tRump’s meeting with Putin, probably because of their own hidden complicity at this point, another week will have been wasted. Meanwhile, Mueller remains focused, quietly working behind the scenes at his job and doing yeoman’s work of behalf of the country. Thank G-d for small favors.

And the funnest part? If she’s ever tried before a jury int he US, the one or two true-believer Trumpers who get on the jury will defend her by hanging the jury, because they will equate it with defending Trump.
