We will have another conservative majority on SCOTUS, with someone more extreme than Scalia making five.

I am not too sure of that. The Dems cannot afford not to filibuster any SC nominee that conservative or they will lose what remaining respect as a party they enjoy now. If Trump is smart he will nominate someone barely less moderate than Garland, but we know he is not smart.
