Discussion: Trump's Condition For Debating Sanders: Raising Money For Women's Health

If Bernie’s smart he’ll say, ā€œSure, Planned Parenthood.ā€

Ooooh yes! Thank dog at least Trump is above pandering.

I don’t know about The Donald, but how will The Bernie raise the money?

Did Trump say how much of his own money he’d chip in?

Note: every time the Don is called to debate he make raising money for something a condition. After the recent kerfuffle about money raised for Vets I offer this unsolicited piece of advice to the Bern: don’t bring donations to the table. It will stink to high heaven!

In the same press conference, Trump responded to President Barack Obama saying that foreign leaders are a right to be ā€œrattledā€ by Trump’s candidacy. The real estate mogul seemed to take issue with the term, although he said that he ā€œloved that word.ā€

ā€œHe used a bad word cuz he knows nothing about business,ā€ Trump said. ā€œWhen you rattle someone, that’s good.ā€

  1. You’re not supposed to ā€˜rattle’ your allies.
  2. When your country is the leader of the free world, rattling and surprising countries is not a good thing. They should know what to expect if they step out of line, rather than guessing.
  3. …he knows nothing about business… You’re running to be President. The country is not a business.

Yeah, meaningless gestures like ā€œraising money for women’s healthā€.

That’ll clinch the female vote! If you believe that women are that stupid…
(which the Trump camp apparently does)

He could set up a super PAC, its not that hard, you simply fill out…Oh…right.

Nevermind.

On a serious note…Bernie COULD hit up people like Sarandon, Robbins, Silverman, Meyers, etc to kick in the money. He has enough wealthy, high profile supporters, that if he wanted, they could pull it off. And as pointed out up steam, declare the money for PP.

It wouldn’t be a super PAC or a campaign contribution, so it shouldn’t run afoul of the FEC.

Trump would probably balk at PP, but Bernie would probably accept another group, as I think he really is that desperate to make it happen.

Oh. How noble.

Congrats on your most recent clusterf*ck, Bernie.

Doesn’t matter how much he says. He won’t really pay any.

I think this is a fabulous idea as long as both men agree to do this entire debate while lying on a table with their feet in stirrups.

Am I right, ladies?

Now, see, I thought the condition for debating a person of the opposing party in the same presidential race as you is that they are no longer still in a primary race, but are in fact the nominee of that party. Silly me.

Oh. What. A. Circus.

Well, that’s a deal breaker. Bernie’s one and only cause he’s willing to raise money for is Bernie.

And the charities only after several investigative pieces and not the amount previously stated. ā€œCloseā€ as Trump just described missing the $6 mil mark…Horseshoes close?

Now that would get ratings!

Congratulations to Trump. He’s achieved exactly what he wanted: more free publicity.

And Bernie Sanders, fellow media wh*re and current sore loser of the Democratic Primary, fell right for it.

Bernie’s getting played. Which admittedly, isn’t hard. You just have to give him a podium to yell from, and an audience to yell at.
