It’s interesting to speculate: do they really not understand that the mandate is an essential leg of the three-legged stool that is the ACA? Or do they understand it and just don’t give a shit?

The same feeling of failure is swirling around this tax bill that was swirling around their repeal & replace bill. There is no momentum, no excitement and no knowledge flowing from these losers. This bill is dead on arrival and they know it.
