While I don’t despise Der Drumpfenfuhrer any less or think that his “deals” with Democrats (with are written in sand) are based on anything other his lust for a win regardless of substance, his need for praise, and an expression of spite against some disloyal loser (ATM, that’s Ryan and McConnell). Trump has finally realized that “reaching across the aisle” is the quickest way to get flattering press coverage. That is much more important to him than fulfilling campaign promises or keeping Republicans in Congress happy.
