Well, the Party has something to say about it as well. Obama did his speech at the previous convention and he impressed a lot of people right then and there. Obama’s path was set within the Party after that and he didn’t disappoint. Hillary is worthy, no doubt but she is also easily outshined which Obama proved.
In my mind, her loss in 2008 will be our gain. She realized that us Dem voters want certain things and aren’t going to just fall in line. Her speeches now reflect that and so does her tone. This candidate Clinton knows that she has to be for the people or she is done forever. Plus I think she is more liberal with age and especially as a grandmother.
This is the end of her political career. How she governs will be either the exclamation or the stain on her legacy. For both Clintons in fact.
