Discussion: Trump Wrongly Says 2 Were Shot Dead In Chicago During Obama's Farewell

They just love blowing that dog whistle regarding Chicago.

It’s unclear where Trump got the impression that people were fatally shot during Obama’s speech.

Well, just look at what’s shooting!

We’ve been promised “lies”, not “wrongly” or “falsely”, and this is the perfect story to start with.

“Trump Wrongly Says…”

How about TRUMP LIES AGAIN?

I’ll say it again:

Democrats need to set up an Actual Facts Daily Briefing, to be attended by the press pool, a block away from the White House.

They no longer have blame violence on obama…and use chicago as an example so trump makes shit up…

You can’t make this shit up, and yet he constantly does just that. Liar-in-chief.

He Lied!

Say it with me now, it’s not difficult 4 letters, one syllable.

If the MSM doesn’t have the balls to call him on it, nothing can be changed or fixed.

Remember when Elton John sang “Madman Across The Water”?

And it was only Nixon?

Those were the days.

There actually is an editorial debate I wouldn’t dismiss about this, because saying “lie” strongly connotes a deliberate and knowing falsehood. Usually you don’t have proof of that, even if a person does it all the flurking time. (I know I’ll get yelled at for this but I’m stubborn.) So personally I’d settle for a litany of falselies. Whether it’s “lie” or “falsely,” week after week of his statements being labeled not true and people might start to get the idea there’s a problem.

He really is relentless in his hatred of Obama.

And he also said
“If the president does it it’s not illegal”, a mantra that Dickface Donald follows to a “T”

Well, Obama continues to be provocatively popular. Trump isn’t standing for that, by God. Sure, the popularity is involuntary, it’s created by actions in the past, it was never about Trump, but that doesn’t matter, narcissistic injury is a thing and THIS MEANS WAR.

To massively oversimplify:

  1. Chicago cops love Trump. They share his outlook. They are my neighbors. They tell me this.
  2. Chicago’s gun violence is mostly gang and drug related. The people killed live in areas where gangs shoot people.
  3. The cops let this happen generally, because they hate the gangs, and mostly they shoot each other.
  4. because of excessive-force lawsuits that have humiliated the police, the police are even more lax about policing the gangs.
  5. so the gangs feel freer to kill.
  6. Trump runs his mouth about the cops who support him saying Chicago can’t stop the violence.

He’ll continue to make this stuff up for two very good reasons:

1:) He’s a pathological liar and cannot stop lying anymore than he could stop breathing, he doesn’t even know he’s lying half the time, he probably thinks he’s just saying stuff that reality hasn’t caught up to yet.

2:) He pays NO PRICE for the continued lying, NONE of the major media outlets will call him out on it in any meaningful way, for every minute of airtime they give Van Jones or Rachel, they give ten minutes to Kellyanne or Jeff Lord to completely negate it all.

They all suck and the one bright spot when Herr Trump and Herr Bannon pound the last nail in the free speech coffin will be the look on the baffled faces of Joe and Mika and all the other hot air balloons who let this happen to them.

If Trump ever tells the truth that is going to be banner headline worthy.

Sounds to me like, Bannon/Breitbart stuff.

I think Bannon is the puppetmaster. Putin has priority on the wish list. And Conway is the most effective mouthpiece. Spicer’s days might be numbered unless he gets smoother and faster with the lies. All Donnie really wants, is attention. Lots and lots of it. Never enough.

“President Donald Trump falsely claimed in a Wednesday night interview that two people were shot in Chicago during former President Obama’s farewell address in the city, The Chicago Tribune reported.”

Sometimes you run across info regarding another subject and BINGO !

"That’s right: we now live in a world where overwhelming evidence of anthropogenic global warming is available but Trump declares the evidence does not exist, and a complete lack of evidence of voter fraud leaves Trump insisting voter fraud exists.

Reality hasn’t been turned upside down. It’s been twisted inside-out."
