Discussion: Trump Wishes Clinton Would Have Congratulated Him In Her DNC Speech

Not even a 5 year old whine but a 3 year olds mommy mommy they did not invite me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Donald Trump, you are an asshole.

I can’t wait until you lose the election to see who you blame it on. Well, it will be your fault for being a draft dodging coward and a lying, asshole loser.

The key phrase is, ā€œto the best of my knowledge.ā€ Most of the world has no idea what he’s saying behind closed doors. Considering how cruel and crude his public persona is, I shudder to think of what he must be like in private. I bet even Stephen King would be shocked at the things he would see, if he could see into Trump’s mind.

Of course he’s whining again. As far as Trump is concerned, everything in the world is about him.

Homer: "Hey! No one thanked me!"
Lisa: ā€œDad, you didn’t do anything.ā€
Homer: (whiny) ā€œBut I like to be thanked!!ā€

This is a fascinating question. I think if modern political debates were organized and moderated as actual debates, where you have to lay out and defend a fact-based argument, Trump might well not have been the candidate or even finished out the primaries. And he was notably cautious in the first few—someone, I think a writer at the New Yorker, said he seemed to be aware he was out of place.

And he’s probably warier yet—Hillary won’t be cautious for fear of alienating his supporters. But you can get away with dodging and posturing, coming out with sound bites and variations on your stump speech. It’s such a non-debate in that way that I wonder if she’ll fighting with one hand. She can show, on the same stage with him, that she’s extraordinarily knowledgeable and smart. But although he’s laughably outmatched, the format doesn’t force him to make himself all that vulnerable, certainly not commensurately with the mismatch in knowledge and intellect. If he’s not doing well when the debates come around, he might gamble on holding his own, having a good moment here and there.

Uhh, did I miss Trump’s congratulatory message to Clinton?

Trump can’t get it through his head that earlier Republican candidates for president were better men than he is. Given Trump’s abnormal ego and his bizarre sense of entitlement, that’s not surprising.

Modern Presidential debates are about not screwing up and baiting or waiting for your opponent to screw up and then eviscerating him for doing so. Think Obama with ā€œPlease proceed, Governorā€ā€¦Romney walked himself out on a limb and screwed up…and Obama pounced.

Trump most certainly can try to stick to lots of bluster and short little catch phrases that match the size of his fingers. But the two things he has to watch out for are A) if he does that, Hillary will be laying bait aimed at getting under his skin the entire time. We have already seen that the few times that it was done to him in the republican debates, he took it…hook line and sinker. Rubio and Cruz were unable to deliver the pounce…but Hillary will have no such problems.

The second thing is, it is MUCH harder, if not impossible, to completely dance around every question the moderator gives you. He could pull that off on a debate stage with 9 other people because…the clock is ticking. Here, it will just Hillary, and every time he tries to dodge, she will answer and nail him for not answering. As well as the moderators will push back on him. Indeed, I fully expect Trump to go off into a personal back and forth attack with moderators in the first debate (assuming he shows up for it) to lay the ground work for yelling ā€œit was riggedā€ and to build his excuse for not attending any others. ā€œEveryone is unfair to meā€

Its also worth noting, that Hillary has already started doing debate prep work, Trump never does. That makes him even more vulnerable to having her get under his skin and provoke one of those ā€œgotchaā€ moments.

Who is the Scout-team’s Trump for HRC ?

That’s about the size of it, and you make a good case for his vulnerability and why he’d be smart to run away. If he did duck debating Hillz, though, I think that’d be quite a bit worse even than withholding his taxes. People expect to see candidates duke it out. It’s a pretty interesting situation.

ā€œAnd not once, not even once has he called her out for having had her period, Trump went on graciously. What a guy!ā€

When a woman reaches a ā€˜certain age’ she ceases her periods and goes into 'ā€˜menopause’. After menopause, a woman becomes a ā€˜crone’, or a woman without menses. In short, she no longer has her periods, and all that was attached to that.

As for Trump knowing anything about that, I have no idea, but I am looking forward to when he tries to clinch the election and brings up her 'monthly incompetence" I am certain that the facts of menopause will be offered to Trump, which he will call ā€˜disgusting.’

Ha-Ha!

lord’s prayer: and deliver us from evil, especially from donald trump…for thine

Last night in Denver, Trump once again read the story of the old woman rescuing the frozen snake who then fatally bites her. A story about an animal that can’t change its’ nature- that’s Trump.

Not that I’m surprised, but Trump is obviously a very lazy candidate – on the level of Palin.

We are over a year in on his campaign has he has clearly not formed any real foreign or domestic policy and has studied neither.

His ā€œWe would be looking at that.ā€ answer to the question of the annexation of Crimea and the lifting on sanctions on Russia, is another example that he can’t be bothered to study issues.

It’s a secret, because if you were ā€œplayingā€ Trump you wouldn’t want to admit it to anyone.
