Discussion: Trump Will Skip The White House Correspondents' Dinner Again

What a coward.

Can we assume that Sanders will set there with a sour, humourless expression for a while then pointedly leave early, Pence style?

And he wonders why he gets no respect.

“Foxlandia”. I like that. Of course, in the original German, it’s Fuchsland, as in “Fuchsland über alles”.

This is cowardly, but it was the right thing to do. In the end it may be his cowardice that saves us.

Just one of many reasons, but yes, he can give it out but can’t take it.

I hate trump, really despise him, but I also loathe the white house correspondent’s dinner, which is emblematic of beltway insiderism

I wonder if people and businesses hurt by Trump because he acted in response to Fox reporting could sue Rupert Murdoch and Fox for damages, etc.

If harm resulted because Fox reporting wasn’t true, and Fox continued their storyline or refused to make a correction after being told it wasn’t true - perhaps their victims could win a lawsuit.

Some of the reporters to be honored at the April 28 dinner hail from CNN, a channel that has frequently been the subject of the President’s ire. The others come from the New York Times, Politico and Reuters.

How is it Fox News isn’t getting the Leni Riefenstahl award for best -by which I mean worst- propaganda?

Surely Trump could do a quick drive-by to honor his masters?

I’m sure it’s the bone spurs acting up again.

I guess someone’s fee-fees are still smarting from that ass-whuppin’ the Kenyan Muslim gave him seven years ago.

Is that a hard “u” or a soft “u” when spoken?

Close as I can get.

Judge Chin said the case was an easy one, and chided Fox for bringing its complaint to court. The judge said, “Of course, it is ironic that a media company that should be fighting for the First Amendment is trying to undermine it.”

Fox News Network, LLC, v. Penguin Group (USA), Inc., and Alan S. Franken (2003 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 18693; 31 Media L. Rep. 2254) was a civil lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on August 7, 2003. Fox News Channel, the plaintiff, sought to enjoin Al Franken from using Fox's trademark phrase "fair & balanced" in the title of his then-forthcoming book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right.[1] Judge Denny Chin denied Fox's motion for injunction on August 22, and the network dropped the suit three days later.

What a bully and coward ‘little Donnie’ is turning out to be. I always suspected it but now it’s on display for all to see.
