Remember Jeanine was married to a crooked attorney (Al) who was convicted of tax evasion. She signed those returns, but there was not enough evidence to indicate she knowingly (like Donald, right?) signed them or otherwise committed acts of evasion like her scumbag husband. She is a product of the crooked Westchester/Nassau County Republican racketeers that gave us Al D’Amato. I suspect she has baggage we don’t know about, but then that’s why Donald could use her at DOJ. Because he certainly has some, and Barr can’t cover it all up by himself.

You are right of course - the tRump has no friends in the generally understood sense of the word.

Every relationship is transactional for him and he is only interested in what someone can do or is willing to do for him. If it serves their own interests his “friends” will go along because they understand the nature of said “friendship”.

That’s as far as it goes.

Pirro is willing to act as tRump’s attack dog on FAUX Nuz and a position at the DOJ would have offered her credibility she completely lacks. The idea that she was fomenting a legal pursuit of Hillary Clinton is highly disturbing and to give credit where it is due (very reluctantly) it appears that Sessions realized that dog would not hunt in a strictly legal arena.
