This will be just like every other Trump promise: empty.

Do you know what I want and need more than a tax cut? A government that has enough money to function well.

“Tremendously”," super", straight out of The Words To Use While Presidenting manual.

I want Democrats to insist and keeping pressing to ask how trump and family would be impacted by the tax cuts. We all need to see those tax returns. Keep making him squirm.

Just more of trump talking out his ass about something he never took the time to understand the details of. Just like ACA repeal.
A PRE DEDUCTION 15 and 4 point drop in the corp and top earner tax rates sounds like it will outpace any drop to middle class rates. Remember that NOW under the current structure corps and top earners pay less than 20% of their profit/income to taxes. Add to this and their almost paying NOTHING and the bulk of the % to income burden falls on those the GOP is claiming to help…

Oh and how are we paying for this…

I had reason to go into my Dictionary of Mathematics this morning. I looked up “Null sets”, and found this:

When did multimillionaires become the middle class?

I like to link to this story now and again because it talks about Mueller getting his hands on donnie’s tax return and the havoc that will follow. I hope no one starts hyperventilating over the phrase which includes “firing Mueller” and imagines a dark scenario

veteran federal prosecutors and legal scholars said that Mueller, who began his investigation only last week, has clear-cut authority to obtain the president’s tax returns—perhaps the most sensitive and sought-after government documents since the Pentagon Papers—from the IRS if Mueller suspects they might contain evidence of a crime.

And short of firing Mueller and shutting down his investigation, Trump—who is the first president in 40 years to refuse to make his tax returns public, despite once promising to do so— would have almost no way of stopping him. In fact, the prosecutors said, the president and his lawyers would not necessarily even know that Mueller had obtained them.

In mathematics, there is only one null set. So I guess this is it.

Is it me or did he just say basically the same thing about healthcare, and then try to push through a plan that can simply be summed up, as always with these motherfuckers, as “tax-cuts for the rich?”

It’s nice to know Congress is finally moving on from trying to spike Obamacare to their next campaign promise they’re not going to be able to come through on.

They’d start at robbing homeless people of their spare change and shutting off the oxygen tanks of people on Medicare first, and then just kind of work their way up from there until someone in the upper-middle class files a complaint.

Lower taxes have nothing to do with job creation. When taxes were at 90% over the threshold, companies did capital investment and hiring which offset their taxes. Now, the tax cuts are used to buy back stock to make the executives richer. No jobs created.

This alleged tax cut will be offset by taxes to build the GOP Bigot Border Wall. Well done!

“Donald Trump vowed to deliver on a major tax cut for middle-class Americans on Tuesday as the White House and congressional leaders prepared to release details on a tax overhaul proposal that would slash the corporate rate and simplify the nation’s tax code.”
