The reporting on Trumpās scams and scampaign is very instructive. It looks like it might be worthwhile for every taxpayer with some disposable income to explore and possibly establish a charitable foundation and fabricate operating losses via real estate schemes to reduce their tax burden.

Based on Donaldās boasting, however, we know the entire point was quid pro quo.
The reason conservatives need their tax breaks and exorbitant salaries is to buy lawyers who hide the quid pro quo, so the elite can boast about how highly they regard law and order.

The NYT print edition put its report on the the NY AGās C&D on page A-17.
The Trump Foundation has brazenly, crassly, grossly, and not at all subtly done every single last thing the NYT (and the AP) spent most of the summer trying, and failing (and insinuating despite the failure), to prove the Clinton Foundation was doing. This story should represent a shaming event, one that leads to introspection, reflection and self-improvement. Instead, they grudgingly bury rehashes of the stuff other reporters have discovered on page A17. And I think they do it because it shames them, exposes their relentless pursuit of Clouds and Shadows as a prime example of the institutionalized CDS that has damaged their reporting, and their reputation, for two and a half decades. And they hate it.
