Discussion: Trump Urges Supporters To Boycott Hillary Clinton's DNC Speech Tonight

He loves the uneducated. He wants to keep them that way forever.

“Don’t watch Hillary’s DNC speech tonight…help Donald…call out her lies…fight back against her nasty attacks”

How could anyone help call out lies and deflect nasty attacks IF THEY DON’T HEAR THEM?

This man is a world class idiot.

As Jack Nicholson said In a Few Good Men, “You can’t handle the truth”. Trump cannot handle the truth and hence the boycott (you know he will be watching). Everyone should be watching tonight. It’s historic. And it’s important.

That he’s losing in the ratings comparison is KILLING him.

Yes, Donald, I am sure Hillary’s pillow will be wet with her tears from the hurt she will feel by knowing that your deranged fanboys are not watching her historic speech. Yes, I am certain she is almost as worried about it as she is worried about what kind of fake tanning lotion you use.

What really killing him: the tv ratings show the Democrats handily beating the Republicans in the first two nights of the Philly convention compared to last week in Cleveland. I’m going to go out on a limb and say night three with the President will beat night three of that hatefest in Cleveland. (Although, if that’s the night they had Chachi on, I may be wrong).

When Trump loses the election and the media spotlight goes away, he’s going to deflate like the air going out of a big, ol’, fat balloon, much like the Wicked Witch of the East (or West) in the Wizard of Oz. Cannot wait to witness it!

Trump’s grim worldview only makes sense if you live in a self-imposed information vacuum.

There is no logic in this request. Most of his “supporters” were never going to tune in to the DNC’s main event anyway – the more he draws attention to it, the more likely they’ll actually tune it. Bass Ackwards.

The headline speaker for night 3 in Cleveland was Ted Cruz - a generally disliked figure who had lost the nomination race. This is against the greatest orator of our generation, along with a number of other great speakers and important people. I think night 3 will have the largest ratings advantage for the Democrats of any convention night.

Trump Train! What wonderful alliteration. Hope they stick with that winner.

Very nice! The GOP would have to hire liberals if they wanted something like that. Thank you!

There you go, belittling people. You do realize that the correlation between intelligence and political choice is pretty darn low - even in this case?

You do also realize that “Trump supporters” are not a monolith, ranging from white supremacists whose Trump hat would have to be pried from their cold, dead hands, through habitual Republicans who have been hating Hillary for years, but who aren’t as solid as Trump would like, all the way to people whose experience is that the establishment has messed them over and think maybe it’s time for an outsider, but who are not committed to Trump or Trumpism personally and might be open to a lesser-evil argument?

Manafort apparently realizes this. That’s why he wants to minimize the number of “Trump supporters” who actually look at Hillary and the DNC.

TrumpCo keeps forgetting that his supporters don’t matter anymore, it’s the general electorate that is the audience for the conventions.

OOO. Somebody’s upset that HRC’s convention is getting better ratings than his.

Fears are overtaking his insecurities. Supporters, as reported, were impressed by President Obama’s convention speech. Panic time following the pathetic RNC convention and sedition comments encouraging Russia to perform cyber hacking.
