IMO, no. It’s not so much that he’s more unhinged but that the campaign has given up ALL hope of getting to that “pivot.” Can’t be done. Won’t be done. They aren’t gonna even try anymore. Let Rump fly his full freak flag. Let him have his phone back 24/7 from now until the election.

According to my Twitter TL, some deplorables are planning to vote Rump at the top of the ticket and leave the rest blank! Now, maybe that was someone BS’ing but I have no doubt that some of his feral base will do that and show the GOP establishment what for!!

Although I have as little empathy for Paul Ryan as he does for others, I worry that he has reaped the wrath of someone with the habit of suggesting his opponents might be visited by gun violence from a member of the armed deplorables. May this circus remain at the level of a spat with Rosie O’Donnell.

Certainly Hillary can hold her own – but I cannot adequately describe how disappointed I am in this election cycle. Hillary has spent a life time in public service working for and supporting Americans at all levels - and she gets to run against this idiot.

I can only hope when it is time to elect OUR next President, that someone, anyone (media, congress…) stands-up, shows some courage, has some dignity, and pushes back instead of just getting run over - until it is damn near too late.

Remember Country comes before Party…
