It is deadly. Gave me neuropathy, ibs, and social anxiety disorder. Well, maybe something else did, but the commute wasn’t helping.

Epiphany: life doesn’t have to end with the Fall and revive with the Summer. You just have to dig whatever you’re doing, or find ways to help you dig it. I think I figured it out this summer, which I would never have done had I not put away all the math and all the course preparation and just did other stuff.

I keep saying that. We are not special. We are just people, like the people in Italy and Germany and Japan, and all the other countries gripped by fascism during WWIi. Just people, like all those people in all those dictatorships all over the world right NOW.

We need to take a huge hunk of humble pie, get over our American selves immediately, and get to work saving our democracy.

Per your suggestion, I read the first 20 or so, and I see the tone is that of people running away from her. As to the timing and the presumed intent of the NY, that’s analysis way above my pay grade. Nevertheless, she received nearly 3 million more votes than PP did which in a different democracy would have made her president. I also agree with her postiontion that it was Comey’s email remarks 11 days before the election that sunk her

Ah, now I get it. You thought I was somehow gunning for you. Or, alternative hypothesis, you’ve been silently hating my guts all this time and you finally exploded in rage at me. Or something in between. You seriously need to know that I have no interest in purposely getting underneath anybody’s skin. If you think that’s who I am, you’re mistaken.

My point, since you have missed it, since it is implicit and you couldn’t give a shit about my implicit “points,” is that there is a lot of emotional reasoning on this political blog, in the comments section, and it makes me sick to read it, and I don’t usually wade into these wars, but if someone baits me and tries to shame me then I will defend myself. And even when I defend myself, I try never to stoop to the personal attack.

If you are reading a personal attack in my responses to you, then that is your personal problem to deal with, because that was absolutely not my intent and, if you can quote back a passage to me that was sarcastic in a vicious way or rude in any other way, I’ll give you my sincere apology, but until then, I do not apologize for who I am and how I express myself.

I thought this kind of stuff only went on with the Trump people, but since I don’t like this kind of crap, I’ve avoided even reading it. That might make me seem clueless to you.

I like the NYT and just because I do not like the ACA, I believe Obama did a great job on the economy and his MPG regulations did more for the environment than Al Gore ever did. To paraphrase Al Franken, I feel about both as an adult would, not a six year old child where everything they do is wonderful.
I logged off because I had some gardening and cooking to do. I just pressure cooked some beets from the garden and will peel them as soon as they cool. also sliced up a huge Amama Orange tomato (delicious heirloom) out of the garden and picked some more broccoli.
