I have seen a lot of transitions over the years. Bill Clinton had a particularly rough one because there had just been the one term, Carter’s, in the last twenty years to provide experienced Democrats to fill offices, and most of them were either a bit long in the tooth (many were Johnson-era people) or tainted by the perception of failure.
But Holy Plastic Mother of Dashboard Jesus, it’s only the Tuesday after Election Day and this is already the worst dumpster fire shitshow fail parade fecal tsunami of a transition I have ever seen or heard of.
It’s not going to get any better even once they’ve filled all those empty seats, because the people willing to work for Trump will be as terrible as the people he’s got now
Honestly, I’m wondering if some of the lower level positions simply never get filled. The upper echelon positions will be filled by - ________. It’s been exactly seven full days since the start of - well, whatever it is that we’re living through now. I assume they’ve gone through a list vetted by Pence, the one with the most GOP establishment seniority they have.
If no one on his list wants to get involved with this debacle, things are gonna get bad quickly. I think some of the top positions may end up having to do double duty of their jobs plus someone else’s.
It’s not like we need a DoD under President Rapist. He will just tweet a country into submission.

I’m starting to think a lot of promises he claimed won’t get accomplished simply because he doesn’t have the man power.
I’m wondering if some of these positions will be posted on Monster.com.

I for one am not in the mood for awarding ‘style points’ for this amateur crowd. I’ve watched administrations come and go since I became aware of politics. I 1st got to vote in 1968 and haven’t missed a chance since. This one ain’t showing finesse. The top 3 trump, Bannon, Priebus have bupkis in governing experience. And it is showing. Pretty soon this crowd will be flying solo and as night follows day they’ll get presented with a crisis they can’t handle

Everything I’ve seen written about this transition just screams “Amateur Hour”. These guys just seem to be permanently behind the power curve.
