If Romney or Nikki Haley gets Secretary of State (and their names may have just been thrown out as a head fake) they will need to do some extremely heavy lifting to balance out the incompetents, racists, bigots, and crazies in all the other posts.

I think Haley was a total head fake. Mittens, on the other hand, would work. But, heād have to understand going into it, that Rump would never listen to his suggestions and make an effort to humiliate him as often as possible for his past disloyalty. See: Krispy Kreme.

It will merely give Trump and the right wing governments of many states the excuse to crack down, with impunity, against any and all that oppose their beliefs.
Iām conflicted on this.
On the one hand, youāre right - it feeds into their authoritarianism perfectly. On the other hand, I donāt think they can afford to have āthe burning of Wattsā going on all over the country.
Flynn and Pompeo are a package deal. If Flynn isnāt confirmed,they pull Pompeo. If Flynn is confirmed and it looks like Pompeo wonāt be, Flynn will go on the warpath. Because he wants someone clueless there so he can run the complete show from the NSA desk. And because he doesnāt need someone who has a clue gumming up the exchange of information heading to Moscow.

I canāt believe that even the establishment GOP would go along with it not to mention some very powerful actors deep within the government. Itās just too much. Iāve heard that heād widely regarded as a nutjob, making Jack D Ripper look completely sane. I mean, how do you paper over Flynn being seated at the RT dinner with Putin in Moscow?

Iāll riot if a 3rd-party voter tells me, yet again, that they couldnāt vote for Clinton, because she is hawkish and is tight with Wall Street.
Edited to add: I stayed out of the fights in the stands between Sanders/Clinton/Stein/Johnson supporters the whole election, so this is a new anger.
