Discussion: Trump Transition Aides Raised Flags About Flynn's Russia Contacts

So…Transition head Pence was also unaware of Billingslea’s actions?

I think it would go a little something like this…

"Mike, a lot of people helped you write the business. We made a deal. If I hear of a (expletive deleted) dime they paid you and you didn’t kick back all down the line, I personally will start the hashtag #BenedictArnoldFlynn. And that’s nothing compared to what The Big Guy will do–your worries’ll be over. Need a diagram?

“Trump has said he has no nefarious ties to Russia”
That would be a good place to start if he were not such a notorious liar.

After learning that highly sensitive documents from a secure room at the transition’s Washington headquarters were being copied and removed from the facility

But Hillary’s emails!

"Flynn was forced to resign three weeks later for misleading Vice President Mike Pence and other officials about the content of his discussions with Kislyak.

As Josh points out in his twitter feed, it is incredible that the AP feels obligated to repeat as factual the lie that Pence was fired for misleading Pence–even in the context of an article that says how the Trump transition team was requesting classified info. on Kislyak and secretly photocopying and removing sensitive classified material.

Trump announced his intention to nominate Billingslea to serve as assistant secretary for terrorist financing at the Treasury Department.

So we’re handing out loans?

What was the job title under Obama?!

After last year’s press coverage, one could rightly conclude that the political desks of our MSM outlets had a never ending passion for the intricacies of sensitive document handling and electronic storage and were aggressive watchdogs, barking at the least sign of mishandling. I wonder. What possibly could have happened to quell their passion? One would almost think it was the controversy in and of itself that was important and not the particulars.

Now, not so much.

I have no idea.

I have a lot of sympathy for the outgoing Obama officials. Imagine being responsible for something as crucial and danger-prone as national security, and having to hand over the keys to the castle to a nutjob like Flynn, and his boss, the Ignoramus-In-Chief. Yeesh.

No worries. This was just a backup for the Trump Organization in case Deutsche Bank didn’t sit still for being stiffed on the money Trump said he’d pay back. When Trump heard about the $araPac’ s penuriousness he hired Palin to help Billingslea make sure that no money got to ISIS even though they were to be the original benificiaries.

Imagine being one that had to stick around, because Trump (still) hasn’t bothered to appoint your replacement.
