Absolutely! I would also add that PP doesn’t wear well over time. It doesn’t look like he’s going to continue to enjoy Obama’s economy and he will undoubtedly become even more erratic as the Mueller probe gets even hotter. Insane outbursts like the one that occurred yesterday will become even more common. Sooner or later those who still marginally support him will grow weary of the bullshit too, especially when he’s no longer owning the libs like he used to when his party controlled everything. People’s opinions of others don’t change until they do. He’s no exception.
He believes that as long as he keeps saying the same lies people will come to believe them.
Is such a thing possible?
Can trump not tell the difference between “revolting” and “dancing in the streets”?
I’ll take my chances with the Revolting Trumpers. The key will be whether we can outsmart the–… oh, never mind, my dog just defeated them all. (Good girl, Shammy!)
He was speaking of Bill Clinton.
The sad tale is that there are a few of his supporters who will cause untold harm solely based on his words. They will then be surprised that no one follows them into the chaos.
You’d think not, but then he goes and tweets the “smocking” tweet and then spends five minutes mixing it up with Chuck and Nancy trying to blame them for any potential shutdown while simultaneously taking credit for it over a dozen times. Shit’s gonna get crazier.
Bingo.
Well, he doesn’t get to decide any of that.
The history books, and economic books will decide that.
Can’t someone ask him what he’s done to make this great economy? The tax breaks didn’t work. Tariffs aren’t working.
Um, Trump? People will revolt if you aren’t impeached. You stole an election and destroyed our standing in the international community because you thought that the Russians would make you a lot of money.
I seem to recall a Women’s March that looked a lot like revolution…
ugly people with ugly hearts just like their dear leader…
And if he stages such a revolt with the tiny minority willing to do so, they will all be hung for treason.
Revolt or celebrate in victory?
That was my reaction, only substitute “civil insurrection.”
He’s such a POS, always willing to threaten violence.
Unlike WWII, the combatants are
former best friends
moms
dads
siblings
children
neighbors
co-workers
fellow members (of ANYTHING)
church members
etc.
By the way, Drumpf’s “fights” with anyone henceforth will be an acceleration of what he has been doing from minute one of his “presidency”. His purposes?
(1) It rallies the base
(2) It diverts attention from Robert Mueller and WHAT HE HAS ON DRUMPF
(3) It makes people like Yertle seem “reasonable”
(4) It makes people nervous and fearful, a GOP necessity
(5) It contributes to an understated goal of Drumpf and his team, which is:
Every day, Drumpf will remind Americans (in as nauseatingly a way as possible for THAT DAY) that he is president and that they should be made to believe that there is absolutely nothing that they can do about it.**
** The Mueller probe and 2018 Election have been Drumpf’s two major setbacks. I have been waiting for the soon-to-come “snowball effect”, as cynics from the sidelines (in and out of elected office) are more and more made to be aware that Drumpf is going down. Then they will join the courageous people who have dared to exert and express optimism in the midst of the greatest (and most protracted) crisis this country has ever known.
I’m willing to risk it.
They are already revolting.
