Oh, so he’s going to fund it with a crackdown on UI fraud? If that represented a big pot of money that could be recovered without spending more on the crackdown than the recovery would yield, it would have already been done.

Yawn. So, he’s going to rollout a program that is half as good as the one Clinton has been advocating for since before she even started running? Why even waste anyone’s time?
One thing I do kind of appreciate about Trump is that because he has no ideology or any discernible belief system, he’ll happily take up Democratic principles and policies and make them apart of his platform. So, now we’ve got the GOP standard bearer trumpeting a liberal idea. There will no doubt be other GOPers who will jump on board because party first, stated principles second. And other GOPers will have to either back the program or risk causing controversy by siding against their nominee. Next year, when Clinton starts trying to implement some of these programs she’ll be able to point to all the various GOPers who were onboard with X policy when Trump touted it but are now suddenly against it and refuse to work to get it done. Their support of Trump’s ideological backflips is going to be a problem for the GOP for years to come.
So a maximum of $370.00 a week (here, at least) funded by “cracking down on fraud,” that seemingly bottomless well of Republican funding. Indeed, we should just abolish taxation and fund the entire U.S. government with “savings gleaned from cracking down on fraud.”
(When that actually becomes a real Republican proposal next time Zombie Eyes Ryan proposes a budget, remember you heard it here first, folks!)
Perhaps you heard that Trump is releasing health records (his choice, of course) on the Dr. Oz show tomorrow. Dr. Oz’s promoters are touting the fact that they will be opened for the first time on air and then Dr. Oz will comment. It is unbelievable - two con men staging a charade - that this will be accepted as a legitimate process.
Let’s actually wait to see if it happens before we get wired about it.
Could be DOA by the time the rank and file get a look at it.
