Donald Trump thinks that every single dollar spent outside of the U.S. borders is a dollar personally lifted from his own wallet. Everyone everywhere is out to fuck him, and by God he won’t be taken advantage of. And just to get even for all the fucking he’s taken in the past you and your invoices for goods and services rendered can go to hell, sue me!

I hope you’re right, but with Mueller getting closer and closer, making life hotter and hotter inside the WH, time for him to do anything is getting pretty short. I’m afraid he might conclude that he has to act now, and forego any other more reasonable alternatives. He feels compelled to leave his mark on world history. Given the choice between the pee-pee tapes as his legacy, or taking out N. Korea, which do you think he’ll choose?

If everybody puts their country “first”, assuming such a simple thing as this even exists in complex, multilateral relations, then who gets to come in second?
The only moment this country will have where it will “shine as an example for everyone to watch” is when Trump is forcibly removed from office.
