As president, Trump has spent all or part of more than 75 days at properties he owns in Florida, Virginia and New Jersey.
75 days?? That’s 2 1/2 months. He’s has been President for 10 months. That means he has spent a full 25% of his presidency so far at his own resorts and golf clubs, and all of that travel and accommodation is at our, the taxpayer’s, expense…? We need a reckoning, because at present, Trump appears to be the single most “expensive” president in our history. Are there any reins in place on his spending?
We provide a fully paid for residence for the POTUS. If he chooses not to make full use of it, that’s fine, but let HIM pay for the alternatives, not us. He’s also quite possibly the most active golfing president in our history. And that, after criticizing the hell out of Obama for playing golf?
Once again, the very pinnacle of hypocrisy, in so many ways.
Best comment I’ve seen about turkey-pardoning this year was that before the pardon is complete we need to confirm that he doesn’t have Jared, Donnie Junior or another one of his cabal in a turkey costume so he can sneak a pardon through without anyone noticing it…
