Its kind of funny how last night all the pundits were oohing and aahing about Trump being “presidential”…that didn’t even last 8 hours.
Trump is like a kid with ADHD in a school play. MAYBE he can memorize a few words or even a line from the script…but something shiny will roll across the stage and his attention is gone…he is right back to being Trump. He has literally no impulse control, and his ego demands to be fed…so of course he is going to crow and thump his chest and sneer at everyone who disagreed with him.
Because the realities of a General election haven’t dawned on him yet. He probably believes he can sue every republican that doesn’t support him now.
For that matter, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump talks about suing the country after he loses in November.

I maintain my faith, in the country, that they will do the right thing when it comes down to it and we’ll reject this asshole. However, my faith in our news apparatus, as a whole, is forever diminished.

There it is, right there. He is literally incapable of perceiving or valuing anything outside his ego, his subjective self. I think the people who control every center of power in the Republican party and conservative movement these days are asking themselves if this unity he’s demanding will help preserve them, or help seal the destruction of their power. And personally I wonder how long anyone can stay afloat when every powerful figure in a society is desperate to destroy you.
