CNN doesn’t pay candidates to participate in debates and Mr. Trump’s invitation to this debate has been withdrawn.

If you want to have a real, blood curdling nightmare, just spend an hour before bedtime thinking about President Trump and what that will bring us. I suggest you make your appointment with a really good psychologist ahead of time though.

If CNN has the stones, it will tell tRump to go pound sand. He’s set up a situation where he wins. If CNN gives in to his demand, he looks powerful, plus he gets a tax break for a charitable donation, or gets a $5M appearance fee. If CNN doesn’t give in, tRump can cry that CNN is unfair to him (how NOT paying him is unfair, considering no other candidate is getting paid, is beyond most of us but oh well). The GOP is a YUUUUUGGGGE loser here. tRump is completing the remodeling of the party into a money-making venture for all to see.
If CNN gives in, WE are the biggest losers here.
