I’ve heard several times that the 2020 Democratic field may have more than 20 candidates. I think it’ll likely be fewer than that, but the point is that no Democrat is afraid of running against him. Not one. Some may choose not to run for various reasons, but it won’t be because anyone thinks they can’t beat him. The only reason he remains even in the 30’s in approval is because the Obama economy is propping him up. However, we are due for a correction, and when it happens I don’t suspect “owning the libs” will be quite as satisfying nor do I think sticking it to N(clang)s will be so pertinent whilst living in a homeless shelter.
