It’s stunning that there is a measurable percentage of the population that is so completely deranged and so proudly ignorant enough to believe she should be locked up. Never mentioned, of course, are the specific charges, etc.

This has mystified me for some time, too, and I think I finally figured it out in a comment on an earlier thread today, to wit:

Hillary’s sin is being an intelligent, independent woman who is qualified to be president. For this sin, they expect her to show penitence, feel shame, and cede power to the Alpha Chimp. That ain’t happening so it drives them to further apoplexy.

Hillary has been the classic uppity woman ever since her days as Arkansas’ First Lady, and they want to see her brought down, humbled, made to wear sackcloth and ashes — or to have her head shaved and do the Walk of Shame, complete with the little bell and the dollops of excrement and the nun chanting behind her.

Seeking a rational cause for this is beside the point, and will never explain their purely visceral reaction when brought face to face with a free woman, a woman who is no one’s object and no one’s “10” — something that seems completely normal to us, but drives them batshit insane.
