I think this morning’s tweets demonstrate just how isolated Trump has become. He is grasping at straws, flaying about utterly unwilling to face the truth. The jig is about up. He doesn’t drink but if he did he would probably be drunk all the time.
It would be sad if he provoked an ounce of sympathy.
Trump could literally be caught with a live boy or a dead girl, and still claim he did nothing wrong. Nothing he says is believable or worth anyone’s attention.

If that happens, I think it’s incumbent upon Democrats, when they retake power, to investigate Trump and every single person in his Cabinet who has violated the public trust. Our Constitution must be restored and the rule of law respected. Absolutely no mulligans like they gave to the Bush crew. I’m deeply offended by this gang’s looting of America and people must go to jail. Hell, they don’t even have the decency of trying to hide their criminality!!

Unfortunately, obstruction often succeeds in hiding underlying crimes. That’s one good reason why it should be a crime in and of itself.

Also, at this point in President Obama’s presidency he had a 59% approval rating.

Uh. No, it does no such thing. All it does is reveal how dumb Nunes and Trump are or, if they have brains above the level of a giant sloth how much contempt they have for their voters. Either way, they are doomed.
Besides the volume of obvious obstruction, and the mountains of circumstantial evidence of Russian collusion, conspiracy and quid-pro-quo dealmaking, there’s the simple fact that Trump has repeatedly defied every institution in this country to do every favor for the Russians he can. The refusal to implement the sanctions voted in by a huge, near-unanimous bipartisan majority in Congress has no benign explanation. He’s just tossing his responsibility to execute the laws into the trash. No benign explanation. That’s just the most recent and egregious example but nobody here needs to be told of the others.
We never had evidence that Nixon was involved in the Watergate burglary either. He just orchestrated the cover-up.
In this case I think there are lots of people who suspect they know the outlines of the underlying crime, but they don’t yet have the goods on all of the players.
What this guy is saying works for me.

There doesn’t seem to be anyone in MSM who isn’t saying equivalent of “Is this all there is?” His support among the lunatic right remains firm evidently, but really they are too few in number to keep catering to. Public opinion supports the special counsel and continues to oppose this presidency and the man himself.
