Scarborough is right, Trump does look younger than Biden and Sanders. But that’s because he’s so vain he dyes his hair and skin yellow and has that ridiculous combover. Just one of the many reasons his supporters would hate him most if he were a Democrat.
Please read and consider that Morning Schmoe utilizes this form of framing more often than almost any other show on MSNBC…I really like what this professor is saying and the media needs to be put on notice when they keep pulling this shit to avoid confronting the truth…which is that Republicans, not just tRump are intent on destroying all rules, norms, and our institutions of government.
I heard Joe and the other white guys on that show yesterday make fun of people that call themselves progressive as being ashamed of the label “liberal”. Sanders, though old, has a solid voting record. I will give him credit for that. Biden on the other hand is a sure loser in the general. No question in my mind.
Problem with rigid progressives is that you don’t see that the majority of Democrats are not far left, but just to the left, perhaps, of center. The most important thing is beating Donald Trump, not the grandiose ideas that would sadly never make it into law, but are good ideals to shoot for. It was proven in the last election that many progressive Democrats either didn’t vote for or voted for a 3rd party candidate because the candidate didn’t meet all their criteria - and you see what we got. Idealism is important, but realism is most important in the actual presidential election.
