You want healthcare? No shit. I can get it for you wholesale.

I was going to actually use THAT line, but I am on the tablet, and it was too much typing. Would have saved me in the long run tho.

Used car salesman says
ā€œI know that weā€™re all going to make a deal on health care. Thatā€™s such an easy one. So I have no doubt that thatā€™s going to happen very quickly,I think it will, actually. I think itā€™s going to happen. Because weā€™ve all been promising, Democrat, Republican, weā€™ve all been promising that to the American people.ā€

  1. Repeal the individual mandate.

  2. Charge the employerā€™s half of the Medicare tax against unadjusted gross revenue instead of just payroll.

  3. Allow every citizen to enroll in Medicare.

Easy.

typical of the puppet who escalates his lying depending on who is around him.

painfully aware of his own ignorance he must change the subject by words or actions before his insecurity renders him immobile.

that is the reason his attention span is literally 3 minutes long and why he tells such obvious lies.
you saw examples of it EVERY TIME he met with other heads of stateā€¦people of great intellect no matter their politics

he feels threatened by them unless he is totally convinced they support himā€¦(you saw that with Bibi).
soā€¦you get the long extended handshake with the Prime Minister of Japanā€¦who will ever forget Abes Face after that?

then you saw the other approach the puppet uses to control people when he snubbed the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.

and remember his first interview from the white house where he couldnā€™t stop himself from saying he could act the most presidential of any president EVER except for Lincolnā€¦if he wanted to?

he can never forget that he has never been accepted by the REAL players in new york city.

the main point is that he doesnā€™t mean any of it.
and more and more republicons are understanding that.

but in the mean time as i have written before it is very dangerous because his need to strike out to bolster his confidence will become more and more reckless.
NOT something to be admired in anyoneā€¦let alone the mentally unhinged occupant of the oval office.

I keep coming back to what a person with a mental-health background wrote to The Atlantic months ago: People with NPD this severe are aware that our reality is not the same as theirs. What they try to do is argue us into simply accepting their reality. To us, thatā€™s insane. Reality is reality. To him, it makes perfect sense. He didnā€™t suffer a huge defeat, it doesnā€™t mean heā€™s in a mile over his head, thatā€™s all in our reality. In his reality, heā€™s the greatest dealmaker, everything in the future is trivially easy, and success is guaranteed. We simply have to understand and accept that sometimes two and two make five, or three, or whatever Trump finds most convenient for two and two to add up to at the moment. Easy.

Health care for over 300 million people is going to be easy? Putinā€™s property is off his medication again. He thinks he can wave his magic wand and 1/6 of our GDP will realign itself and everyone will be happy. I suggest he click his heels three times and go fuck himself.

No you have to find a way to keep people from jumping on when they need care and off when they donā€™t. Too many exceptions now. Thatā€™s a big part of whatā€™s wrong.

Why waste our time with his ravings?

To go by the ironclad Trump Rules of Projection, I believe he will accuse each Democratic Congressperson, male and female both, of being sexual deviants and threaten to publish photos of them receiving golden showers from Russian prostitutes if they do not agree to terms. Easy-Peasy.

I think he got tired of winning.

Not sure why any Democrat would/should even talk to Trump about Healthcare. Any deal Dems would want would not get past Senate or House GOPs. Trump has to go through his own party and he now knows he canā€™t count on that.

True enough. He does this stuff all day every day. But all we can really do is sit tight and let the investigators gather more evidence. And that hardly assuages the tension of having this creature in the Oval Office. So here we are!

No expenses spared for the wealthy politicians.

Meanwhile, children go hungry, and veterans sleep on the street, and these White House guests are convinced you and I donā€™t pay enough taxes.

I get the feeling the ā€œdealā€ was that he had to give up his beloved wall:

Yeah, apparently the ACA repeal attempt flopped THAT BADLY.

Perfectly expressed.

And with every defeat the burden will get heavier. The man is in desperate need of a war.

Yes indeed, and if it was so easy, how come he never understood the details of the legislƔtion the first time, and actually shocked everyone with his ignorance?
