While I did not think she would lose, I kept saying she was a horrible candidate and it was way too close considering the disgraceful asshole who was running against. I got abused by many for that…but I was right. Common sense. She did stupid shit, and she just has no charisma.

Especially thank those 75,000 black folks in Detroit for under-voting (leaving the presidential race blank but filling in the rest of the ballot) according to optical readers, and the three GOP judges on the Michigan Supreme Court for making sure no humans will ever be allowed to inspect those ballots. Detroit is 82% African American.

When he said to thank African Americans for not voting, it is clear he does not want to be the president of African Americans. He does not want to be the president of all Americans. He is not even willing to make the empty rhetorical gestures to include all Americans. But he has spoken his truth, the truth of the Republican party. They do not want Blacks voting. This is as nakedly racist as the Dred Scott decision. I hope the Electors are listening. This man will divide American as no president ever has.

Exactly. These types will call out white idiots for voting for Trump, and I agree 100%. But there is this attitude that you can’t say anything about any black people who do stupid shit. THAT is racist, the fear of all blacks. An idiot is an idiot, color has no relevance. Idiot whites voted for Trump because they hate blacks, and many idiot blacks turned out to vote for Obama, but did not turn out to vote for a white woman.

Oh please, stop the whining. The people who did not show up were registered, They voted in 2008 and 2012 for a black man, and did not show up for the white woman. Math. It’s not a huge percentage of blacks, but it was enough to lose the election.
Some of the Electors are just like him so don’t get your hopes up.

Politico ran an article yesterday: “How Hillary lost Michigan and lost the election”. It featured damning testimony from Michigan state-party operatives how her Brooklyn headquarters ignored them and screwed up the Democratic ground game in Detroit, Flint and elsewhere in the state, even though she had many more paid and volunteer workers in situ than the Trump/GOP campaign had. If 80,000-90,000 voters (in Detroit, I think) left the Presidential line blank on their ballots, one must speculate that a very goodly number of such voters were minority and Democratic. Hopefully, Pew or someone else will publish more details about these ballots.
An implication of this article is that Brooklyn’s game-plan model similarly ignored other states and their local party officials. To wit, a few days earlier Politico published a personal account from a Democratic candidate for House of Representatives from North Carolina who received little acknowledgment and no financial support from the DNC or DCCC because the district in which he ran wasn’t a priority race for them to win.

JM wrote a bit yesterday about the HRC loss. It’s gist was hacking and Comey and arguments of “flawed candidate” or “ran a bad campaign” are not mutually exclusive. You can’t spin away Putin’s bullshit with HRC was a flawed candidate memes. In that article he says there were many factors. Nowhere in it does he say Blacks were blameless( which I think you are implying ) nor do I think he was considering their role when he wrote it.
But you still haven’t supported you’re position. All you have to do is type “black turnout 2016” into google and you’re in a tough spot trying to call me stupid or full of shit for saying they stayed at home.
