I felt afraid of something I couldn’t name, but knew it would be awful.

The trouble with the French is that they don’t have a word for ‘anomie’

ETA John Kerry going off on an extemporized truth bombing mission on Rachel. Jeez, the difference between him and the human mango in the White House is breathtaking.

  1. it’s kinda funny and weird how he and others do their damnedest to polish up this turd, because it’s clear that they feel that ‘today’ will be the day that everyone (Americans and world wide folks ) will suddenly say 'he was right in saying that he was framed.

Now that will never happen, but onto 2.

Whether it’s Harris, Gillibrand or Warren, there will always be a ‘pitfall’ awaiting them.

Going there, the same can be said for minority politicians, because while the onus is on them to excel, it’s way too easy to blame them for any calamity.

That said, I think that the aforementioned will do great in '20. For me, yea HRC lost, but seeing how the worse candidate won via Comey interference, this timeline is basically a ‘mirror’ into seeing what America could have done differently in '16.

While the last statement is frankly hopeful marzipan, right now, it’s all that I can offer.

Kavanaugh people say this was a security beach. That’s a lie. He was DiFi’s guest and she introduced him to Kavanaugh earlier

In case there’s anyone in TPMWorld who doesn’t know, Feinstein came to be the mayor of SF in the aftermath of two murders at City Hall and later ran for the Senate. And then as senator in 1993 there was a horrific shooting in a SF office building, 8 dead, 6 injured, shooter killed himself. She’s made her position on guns clear since then.

Women are tough and strong and determined, but they’re going to bump into haters and extremists, perhaps fearful of the power they’ll have going forward.

Harassment is not new for women in politics, or anywhere else — and men face it too, especially if they are African-American or Jewish. But for women, the harassment is ubiquitous and frequently sexualized, and it has come to the fore this election cycle, partly because so many women are running and partly because more of them are discussing their experiences

O I think we should stop navel gazing and climb right back on that damn horse.

right back up there.

Because this is where we are going - “Ayanna Pressley is all but assured of becoming the first black woman elected to Congress from Massachusetts, the latest example of the Democratic Party’s embrace of diversity and progressive politics as the recipe for success in the Trump era.”

This is major winning, courtesy of Bob Woodward’s book. John Kelly:

“He’s an idiot. It’s pointless to try to convince him of anything. He’s gone off the rails. We’re in Crazytown. I don’t even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I’ve ever had.”

Kelly continued, “I’m not even supposed to be here today!”

Completely Ot

I’ve nearly completed my Chuck Grassley automaton. With a face reminiscent of Jeff Dunham’s Walter mixed with a bit of beloved Muppet Waldorf (or Statler, nobody knows for sure who’s who). I feel it’s just the perfect mix of empty suit and arrhythmic gaveling.

The question now — probably the most important question — is how do I properly scent it. Shall I go with my first choice, Witch Hazel, or moth balls?

You two animals are just crackers. If you don’t stop, you’ll be in duck soup .
Knock off this monkey business, you’re driving the rest of us cocoanuts.
Instead of spending this night at the opera, take tomorrow off and spend a day at the races.

Every scent needs a top note and a dry down. I suggest moth balls as your top note that dries down to witch hazel with just a hint remaining of moth balls.

I got my Hillary sticker after the election, and immediately slapped it on my car. My announcement to the world: I am not responsible for this shit show.

Well, what IS shocking is that Donnie, who has no ethics, sees fit and can get away with lecturing or criticizing Mainstream Media on journalistic ethics. Based totally on a career as a self promoting celebrity used to favorable coverage of his marital infidelities and employment of one of the most vile, unethical attorneys in the history of the country.

But they won’t. Using overseas assets, they will live a rich full life. After spending some money and time in court and on lawyers, they’ll still be able to afford health care, houses, food, vacations, and some, but not all the toys they want.
