Can somebody start introducing Hurricane Katrina as “'national spokeswoman and unintentional comedy mistress for the Trump Campaign, Katrina Pierson”? Cause I swear to Gods, talk shows just have her on now for comic relief from the spectre of Donald Trump being president of ANYTHING other than the Hair Club For Men.
I don’t know where I saw it, but somebody once described Pierson as ‘looking like she’d stepped out of a 1980s Robert Palmer video.’ I laughed my guts out when I googled it.
It’s only words, and words are all I have
To take your heart away
Perfect analogy!
But we already knew that, didn’t we?
“You think that I dont even mean a single word I say
they’re only words, and words are all I have
to take your heart away…”
“That would be a change,” another panelist pointed out through laughter offscreen.
Pierson, undaunted, plowed on.
Criminy, you look at the screenshot and you see they’re all laughing at her. There’s laughter in the background.
That woman must have skin as thick as alligator hide. And a brain as big as a flea’s.
(I’d wonder if Kellyanne of the “hidden Trump voters” isn’t under the table there with her hand up Katrina’s butt like a ventrolquist except Katrina’s been spouting this stuff all on her own for months now. So the intellect deficit is entirely her own…)
I have been wondering what Baghdad Katrina would say on this issue. Her performance is pure comedy gold.
The perfect analogy! I would to see an interview with John Oliver…
if she’s smart, she’s getting paid upfront. after november her 15 minutes are up and the donald’s checkbook has a very short memory …
Stupid “journalist” should have asked Pierson if she’d mind us choosing another “word” for her instead of “African-American”, and let her stew on that one for a few uncomfortable minutes.
Just remember Hurricane Katrina’s performance when she tried to primary Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas two years ago.
Sessions - 63%
Pierson - 36%
Don’t tell me Trump has been reading Wittgenstein because I won’t believe it.
BOTH of the other panelists were laughing…and it wasn’t off screen either…they were doing it right to the camera.
And how could they not?
The “reality” here is, Trump is indeed trying to flip flop…on the only major issue he has. And spinning that would be an impossible task for the best spin doctors in the media world. For Pierson, its just laughable to watch her even try.
“Its just words”…wait until the campaign is over and she goes to collect her final paycheck…“Sorry, sweetie…your contract was just words, we are using new words now…and they are…you ain’t get paid diddly”. Then lets see her take on “its just words”.
As an aside…I so wish we could convert Amanda Carpenter to the Light side. She still has a functioning brain, and it pains me to see her waste it on republicans.
I think this is perfectly honest. Trump’s actual position is that he doesn’t give a sh*t about immigration – except insofar as some immigrants serve as really cheap labor for his businesses. He used the “build a wall” rhetoric to describe that position when it was a successful way of getting votes in the primaries, and now he’s using the “kinder, gentley” rhetoric to describe his position now that he thinks that will get more votes in the general. Both sets of words are equally accurate descriptions of his underlying position.
It’s the fault of the press and the voters if they misunderstand him.
Ah, c’mon Kat. No ammo necklace, no credibility!
