Can anything good come from Susan Collins and Trump? I don’t know. Maybe so. The article says the bill is bipartisan. Perhaps this is Trump’s reward to Collins for voting for Kavanaugh and Collins’ attempt to rehabilitate her reputation.
“way out of whack” and “way too high.”
A subject Trump is intimately familiar with
I feel like the other work around for this would be for pharmacists to utter the phrase, “I am not legally allowed to tell you whether it would be cheaper to pay for this out-of-pocket than using your insurance,” whenever it would, in fact, be cheaper to pay for it out-of-pocket. Repeat as necessary, with eye-winking, nodding, and other gestures.
Wow! Who needs Medicare for all after all? We’ve got pharmacists unbound now! Although they better not criticize guns. Gotta draw the line somewhere.
That’s totally an unfair comparison. At least a windsock goes where the wind blows.
President Donald Trump has signed into law two bills that would allow pharmacists to tell consumers when paying cash would be cheaper than using insurance for their prescriptions.
The bills also allow lawyers to tell their clients when it’s inappropriate to make hush-money payments in cash.
Cohen-Trump Tape Shows Trump Knew About Payments To Ex-Playboy Model
I’m pretty sure we’ll find these kinds of stories for every GOP Senator in a swing district or choke-point in Congress… selling Kavanaugh to their Trump base and getting beads and baubles to bring home to their independent voters.
Hope it was worth it, Susan. Hope that was the price for your soul that you asked for. And everything you expected for selling out all the country’s sexual assault survivors and for that matter, just American women.
Seems a tad cheap to me but what do I know - I haven’t tried to sell mine.
In this case I agree with the new law. I have a case where it cost me $12.00 for a supply of 400-B12 tabs. However my Doctor wanted me to take B12 shots at $15.00 per month. When I asked if there was any difference, she admitted no but that the health plan required the shots. All comes down to greed what is better for the health plan provider $12 for a year+ or $180 for the same year. I told her I’ll pay for the tab out of pocket, she did not disagree.
When I see Susan Collins’ name together with the words “Gag Rules” in a headline, I expect to read she’s authored legislation to legalize Supreme Court Justices putting their hands over young girls’ mouths and turning up the music!
Wink, wink, nod, nod – tailor made for Monte Python, too!
Chest of Drawers?
So susan, you even now?
I vote 1 signature.
He treated you better than McConnell ever did. Imagine that. lol
Read the fine print, now you owe trump bigtime for something in the future.
That is guaranteed.
I actually had a pharmacist do that. I saw the wink and asked how much it would be if I paid cash and was surprised. I paid cash.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
I guess that means we will get another piece of legislation that actually helps people in another 2 years?
So Miss Moderate is a shill for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Try GOP eBay, there’s plenty for sale there.
Thanks Sue!! But those upright Christian pharmacists can still refuse to dispense the morning after pill to those asking-for-it raped sluts right?
