To which I replied (to myself actually)… the president took an oath of office to faithfully execute the laws of the land, etc. A president is under oath every second they spend in office. They are, quite literally, perpetually under oath while serving in the capacity of president.
So if a president lies (for reasons unrelated to National Security), especially regarding possible criminal behavior, then they are, by default, ‘lying under oath’. And also ‘obstructing justice’. It doesn’t matter what Trump did or didn’t do. If he’s lying about anything surrounding those activities, then he’s breaking the laws he’s supposed to be faithfully executing.
Just my opinion. Would it stand up in court? I don’t see why not…

President Donald Trump signed a letter of intent to pursue the development of a Trump Tower in Moscow, CNN reported, contradicting statements made by his lawyer over the weekend.
During his show on Tuesday night, Chris Cuomo shared the contents of the letter, which preceded discussions for the Moscow tower. The letter is dated Oct. 28, 2015 and was signed by Trump. Giuliani told CNN over the weekend that “no one signed” the letter.
What? WHAT??? You mean that Donald J. Trump actually LIED to the American people? And all the people around him LIED in order to support this false claim?
The saddest thing about this is that it is now normal. The constant barrage of lies from lying liars is now so commonplace that it is difficult to maintain the necessary level of outrage. These liars all need to be stripped naked and perp-walked out of office with bright lights and cameras running. They have no shame. Make them feel ashamed.
