Whenever, I read about Trumpās ascent in the GOP, Iām reminded of this gem of a story published in the Anchorage Daily News on April 3, 1993. It really is the perfect parable for whatās going on with regards to the desperation of the 2016 Republican Primary:
Sarah Palin, a commercial fisherman from Wasilla, told her husband on Tuesday she was driving to Anchorage to shop at Costco. Instead, she headed straight for Ivana. And there, at J.C. Penneyās cosmetic department, was Ivana, the former Mrs. Donald Trump, sitting at a table next to a photograph of herself. She wore a light-colored pantsuit and pink fingernail polish. Her blonde hair was coiffed in a bouffant French twist.
āāWe want to see Ivana,āā said Palin, who admittedly smells like salmon for a large part of the summer, āābecause we are so desperate in Alaska for any semblance of glamour and culture.āā

Youād think somewhere along the line in Trumpās elite upbringing heād have been instructed a gentleman removes his hat when indoors and/or in the presence of a lady. Heās a crude, vulgar man. I just donāt understand why the GOP thinks now is a good time to take on this fight. Itās the kind of thing that will almost assuredly lead to discussions of rape and some GOPer candidate saying something hideous about rape victims and/or the joy of rape babies.

There is insufficient time or space to cite the voluminous explorations by various news outlets, bloggers, etc detailing the false narrative the videos portray. Contrary to your contention it has not gone unremarked upon by a great many sources.

Here is the solutionā¦make abortions legal for everyone except Republicans. And make sure no medicine created from research on fetal tissue goes to republicans either. Their conscience will rest easy and the rest of us will outlive them.
