The other possibility, which is well within the orange corpulent oneās range of inanities is to work everyone up, expecting withdrawal and then, tomorrow, announce that heās reluctantly going to renew the agreement for another year, because heās such a magnanimous kind of guy, while continuing to saber rattle, bluster, threaten and fart in Iranās general direction. This would keep his Nobel peace prize fantasy alive. His base wonāt care. Whatever he does is by definition, wonderful and beautiful. Any negative blowback would be from Bibi in Israel and Tom Cotton, and friends in the US.
Someone else suggested that he may decide that heāll punt the JCPOA to congress. If he does this, itās as good as withdrawing from the agreement. It will likely die there and the ochreous ogre can then wipe his hands of it, blaming congress for any blowback in the future.

What is really going on here? The Iran nuclear deal also was negotiated by the UK, Russia, France, China, Germany and the 27 countries of the European Union collectively. All were on board with the donāt trust and verify approach. The two biggest opponents to the deal, Israel has the bomb and if Saudi doesnāt have yet, it wants its own nuclear program. Something like half of violent conflict on the planet takes place in the Middle East and western Asia, even if its only about 20% of the global population. Seems like creating a nuclear-free zone as in other places would be a diplomatic goal, but this is the opposite. I would ask what is the logic of introducing more nukes into the worldās most violent areas? Is it as simple as allowing oil companies to retain a panic button against too-low oil prices, or something complex and inscrutable?
I heard a Representative on TV yesterday, canāt remember who it was. She basically said that she opposed the Iran deal when it first came up because she didnāt think it did enough. However, she thinks pulling out of the deal now, when Iran is obviously abiding by the rules and showing good faith is monumentally dangerous.
Donald Trump keeps braying about how he will āMake America Great Again,ā and yet day after day he further embarrasses us as a nation, and with this decision, and his decisions about immigrants and refugees, he is turning the United States into a āshithole country.ā He must be blocked.
