Same. Honestly, what does it matter if it were leaked, or if CNN had the place staked out, or if they’d just promised Chad Johnson some airtime if he agreed to alert them to any goings on at his neighbor’s house? It’s not like It would be even kind of remotely strange for law enforcement, at any freaking level, to leak that somebody famous was about to get arrested. It literally happens all the time. It doesn’t taint the arrest, the investigation, nothing. To even engage in speculation as if it actually matters just lends credence to right wing conspiracy theories.

That’s what college interns are for, or what they used to call ‘stringers,’ essentially a temp reporter… Back in college about 100 years ago, I did one of those stakeouts for a local paper.
